Our Story
Leroy's Hands was founded with a simple belief: every person deserves to age with dignity, surrounded by genuine care and a true sense of belonging. What started as one man's vision has grown into a trusted home for residents and their families.
Our dedicated team works together to create an environment where independence is celebrated, and every individual's needs are met with patience and expertise. Leroy's Hands is providing home base stability for people in need of a structured living environment. This independent living environment targets veterans and/or people experiencing homelessness, and temporary housing displacement. Leroy's Hands offers long term and short-term housing.
Leroy's Hands will also focus on giving back to the community in which we strive to improve. We will be structured to encourage positive growth and seek accomplishments throughout our programs with a volunteer program that includes various opportunities for the community to grow.

Our services are tailored to meet each resident's unique needs — from independent living assistance to comprehensive daily support.
Daily support with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to help residents maintain their independence and dignity.
Coaching/reminders will be provided for medication schedules, administration, and coordination with physicians and pharmacies.
Chef-prepared, dietitian-approved meals served in a welcoming dining room, with special dietary accommodations available.
Daily social, creative, and physical activities designed to keep residents engaged, active, and connected to community.

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our community. Whether you have a few hours a week or a few hours a month, your time makes a profound difference in the lives of our residents.
Lead creative workshops, music sessions, or group games that bring joy and stimulation to our residents.
Help tend our gardens or escort residents on outdoor walks, connecting them with nature and fresh air.
Assist staff with events, errands, and day-to-day tasks that keep our community running smoothly.
Join our outreach efforts to prepare and distribute warm meals to those experiencing homelessness in our community.
Participate in neighborhood initiatives, community clean-ups, and outreach programs that uplift those around us.
Help collect, sort, and distribute food donations to families and individuals facing food insecurity.
